What Customers Notice After
Every time your system runs, air moves through every duct in the house. When those ducts hold built-up dust, pet dander, and pollen, some of it rides along into your rooms.
Customers often tell us they notice less dust on furniture, a fresher smell when the system kicks on, and easier breathing in homes where allergies flare. Ducts are one of several sources of household dust, so results vary from home to home.
When Your Ducts Need More
Every package covers your supply and return ducts, registers, and returns. These add-ons handle specific problems when they come up.

Air Duct Cleaning Questions
How much does air duct cleaning cost?
Air duct cleaning is priced by package, based on how many vents your home has: up to 10, up to 15, or up to 25 vents. Each register and return counts as one vent. Add-ons like deodorizing or sanitizing are priced separately and only added with your okay. Call or text (937) 956-1885 and we'll help you count.
How often should air ducts be cleaned?
The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) doesn't set a fixed schedule. It suggests an inspection every couple of years and cleaning when it's actually needed. For a typical home that usually lands around every three to five years, sooner if you have pets, smokers, recent remodeling, or visible dust at the vents.
How do I know if my ducts need cleaning?
The EPA suggests cleaning when there's visible mold in the ducts or on the vents, dust or debris puffing out of the registers when the system runs, a musty smell you can't trace, or signs of rodents or insects. Recent remodeling that kicked up a lot of dust is another common reason. If none of that applies and your ducts were done a few years ago, you may be fine to wait, and we'll tell you straight.
Can duct cleaning help with allergies?
It can help in some homes. Your ducts collect dust, pet dander, and pollen, and the system pushes some of that back into your rooms every time it runs. Customers who were overdue often tell us the air feels fresher afterward. Ducts are one of several allergen sources in a home, so we can't promise relief. What we can promise is a clean system.
Why do you use a positive-pressure system?
Positive pressure uses airflow to carry dust and debris out of the ducts in the direction the air already moves. We clean through each register and return, so there are no access holes to cut or patch. It's also gentle on the flexible ductwork most newer homes have.
How long does air duct cleaning take?
Most homes take a few hours, depending on the number of vents and how much buildup is in the system. We give you an arrival window when you book, and your technician calls 30 to 60 minutes before arriving.
How should I prepare for the appointment?
Clear a path to your vents and to the furnace or air handler so we can reach everything. We clean the duct system; opening or servicing the furnace itself is HVAC work we leave to HVAC companies. If you have pets, you may want to keep them in a separate room while we work.
